ABOUT ME
Carol-Anne Barnes
Certified Infant Massage Instructor (IAIM), Baby Yoga Instructor (Birthlight) & Infant Developmental Play Practitioner (Carly Budd)
Hi, I’m Carol-Anne and I’m so glad you’re here.
I support parents and babies through baby massage, baby yoga and developmental play; creating calm, welcoming spaces where you and your baby are free to simply be yourselves. My classes are gentle, baby-led and deeply nurturing; not just for babies, but for parents too. This is a space where nothing needs to be perfect, where every baby is welcome to cry, feed, sleep or wriggle, and where every parent’s voice matters.
I’m a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), a Baby Yoga Teacher trained with Birthlight and an Infant Developmental Play Practitioner trained by renowned Occupational Therapist, Carly Budd. My work is rooted in evidence-based practice, but always delivered in a warm, conversational way. I don’t believe in “doing it right” or following rigid rules. Instead, I gently guide you to tune into your baby’s cues, trust your instincts and discover what works for your family. I’m simply here to support you as we learn together.
I’m also a mum myself, and I know first-hand how tender, overwhelming and transformative those early months can be. I understand the quiet doubts, the second-guessing and the deep desire to do the very best for your baby while still finding your own feet. Being a parent has shaped the way I hold space for others, with compassion, patience and understanding. I don’t show up as someone who has all the answers, but as someone who truly gets it, walking alongside you as you learn to trust yourself and your baby, together
What matters most to me is creating a safe, non-judgemental circle where parents feel seen, supported and equal. Alongside the practical techniques, my classes offer time to pause, connect and share with others who truly understand this transformative time. Many families return with their second babies, and that trust means everything to me. It tells me that what we build here goes far beyond a class, it becomes part of family life.
Whether you’re looking for gentle ways to bond with your baby, support their development, or find a community where you feel welcome just as you are, you’ll find that here. This is your space. We learn together, your baby’s needs are important and you are always supported.
